Spherasorb® 408 — 4 to 8 Mesh Indicating + Non-indicating Soda Lime
Spherasrob® 408 NI (non-indicating) | Spherasorb® 408 WV (indicating)
Spherasorb® 408 is a spherical shaped Soda Lime, available as NI (non-indicating) or WV (indicating). Soda Lime’s efficiency at removing Carbon Dioxide from air, leaving Oxygen behind, makes it a vital part of CO2 Scrubbers and rebreathing systems.
- Particle size — 4-8 Mesh (2.5mm to 5.0mm)
- Uniform shape and particle size leads to low breather resistance and uniform packaging
- Exceptionally low dust levels compared with conventional soda lime products
Application | Use:
Military, Diving, and Medical applications (Conditions where keeping air breathable when circulation with outside air is impossible.)
Properties:
Spherasorb® 408 is comprised of 3 mm cylindrical granules, produced to achieve maximum CO2 absorption. The combination of the spherical shape and particle size (4 to 8 mesh) leads to good packing within scrubbers and rebreathers, generating very low dust levels and relatively low breathing resistance.
Spherasorb® 408 has been tested and conforms to the STANAG 1411 and EN14143 standards for rebreathers.
